National Insurance Brokers is an insurance brokerage based out of Fitchburg Wisconsin. We service individual health insurance needs throughout the U.S. With a strong online presence, our main marketing focus is through the internet promoting both family health insurance and individual health insurance.

National Insurance Brokers is seeking a motivated individual to fill its summer marketing intern program. The program will run during the summer with the opportunity to remain on a part time basis throughout the school year.

Position Details:

This person will be responsible for working with our marketing team to assist with the writing and managing our online content. In addition, this person will be in charge of press releases to various media outlets as well as seeking PR opportunities for National Insurance Brokers.

Who we are looking for:

The type of person we need is someone who has the ability to work independently without much supervision. They must also be outgoing and willing to work with well with others. They must also be a creative thinker, have excellent writing skills and seek new and inventive ways to increase exposure for National Insurance Brokers through such things as social networking, and blogging. This person must also be able to socialize as well as handle themselves professionally in a business environment. Finally they must be willing to learn and act on the knowledge they are given. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated successful work experience in positions that require them to regularly interact with others.

Time commitments:

This candidate will be expected to invest approximately 40 hours per week during the program. This is a highly independent position which means there is a great deal of flexibility to getting the work done each week with the possibility of working from home. This person will also be able to work from home and will communicate with the owner through daily progress reports and meetings.
